The Sonics announced this morning that they have picked up the 2008-09 options on the rookie contracts of centers Johan Petro and Mouhamed Sene.NBA first-round picks sign contracts for two years with team options for two more. In Petro's case, this option is for the fourth and final season of his contract. The option covers the third season of Sene's contract. His fourth-year option can be exercised by Oct. 31 of next year.
