Sonics Select Landry

With the first pick of the second round, the Sonics have selected Purdue forward Carl Landry. Landry is another guy who fits the kind of mold Sam Presti has talked about for the Sonics. He's a workmanlike player who averaged 18.9 points and 7.3 rebounds as a senior at Purdue, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors as voted by the coaches (the media picked Landry for the Second Team).

Presti should have some comments on Landry and more on the Draft before too long.
